Thanks for supporting the Highway 61 Blues Festival... come see us again next year on October 5-6, 2013 at Warfield Point Park, located right on the Mississippi River! The Highway 61 Blues Festival held in conjunction with The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival is a part of a partnership among Mississippi, Arkansas and Memphis called Bridging the Blues designed to give visitors to the area more than a week of blues festival and blues related activities. This year's festival will be dedicated two very deserving musicians... firstly the late Eugene Powell. Secondly we honor Shine Thornton.
